Face Mount Round Log Knife Plate

This Facemount Round Log Knife Plate will hold your round log post in place while mounting it on a wall or front face of anything. These are meant to be hidden and also provide the strength of steel, allowing you to secure a railing post. These hidden post mounts are made out of solid steel. You can select different thicknesses based on your needs. If you want us to finish the railing post bases, we can paint them or powder coat them. Or, we can send them to you unfinished if you prefer to save a few dollars and finish them yourself. That is the beauty of buying from us. You can have these totally custom sized and spec'd and you can select the different options these are available in. Please remember that when you are selecting the size of logs you are using, we will make the base (round plate at the bottom) to a bit smaller dimension, giving you just a bit of "wiggle room" for the size of the log. For example, if your logs vary in diameter from 3.5"diameter to 4"diameter, select the smaller size of log in the options when ordering these and we'll make them just a bit smaller, say 3"diameter. That way, you don't have plate hanging over the edge of your log and it looks great when it's all installed. Be sure to include in your options the diameter size of hardware you are going to use to secure the logs to these so we can make the holes a little bit larger. For quantity pricing, select the sizing you need, the quantity and put them into the cart. When ordering, make sure to get the correct size for your timbers as these are custom made to order. Due to them not sitting on a shelf, they cannot be returned due to the wrong size being ordered.
